120th Church Anniversary

On behalf of the Second Baptist Church of Homestead, Pennsylvania, and Pastor Laphon Flood-Francis, we are pleased to invite you to our 120th Church Anniversary Homecoming Celebration.  We rejoice that the Lord has kept us for 120 years and look forward to celebrating this joyous occasion.  The theme for the homecoming celebration is “Rooted and Rising – A Family Affair” (Psalm 133:1).

REVIVAL SERVICE

Join us for a night of Revival Worship at 7:00pm. It will be a time for us to come together to celebrate God's sustenance of our church over the past 120 years and the bright future God has in store for us. We are excited to have special guests, Rev. Courtney D. Meadows and the Central Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, leading us in Worship.

OCTOBER 2

REVIVAL SERVICE

Join us for a night of Revival Worship at 7:00pm. It will be a time for us to come together to celebrate God's sustenance of our church over the past 120 years and the bright future God has in store for us. We are excited to have special guests, Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis and the Mount Ararat Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, leading us in Worship.

OCTOBER 4

SNEAKER BALL

Join us for a night of family, food, and fellowship as we celebrate God's goodness. We will gather at the Duquesne Fire Hall, 1620 Pennsylvania Ave, West Mifflin, PA 15122. Semi-formal attire with sneakers is required. Tickets are $30.

OCTOBER 5

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Join us as we culminate our celebrations during our 11 am Sunday Morning Service. Our guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Jennifer Carner from The Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church (House of Hope Atlanta) in Decatur, GA, and Director of the Preaching in a Post-Christian Age Initiative and Assistant Professor of Homiletics at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
